The Bag Boy Chiller Pro is our Editor’s Pick.
What we like:
- Premium Materials & Construction.
- 15 Full-length dividers for easy club access. Extra divider comes in handy for alignment sticks, an extra club, etc.
- Stable standing with or without legs deployed. (You won’t find your bag fallen over if you just stand it up instead of deploying legs)
- 8 Storage pockets.
- Unique & Innovative (and removable) Cooler Pouch.
What we don’t like:
- Single strap makes walking the course difficult.
The Chiller Pro is the most functional and well made bag I’ve used.

Verdict: I don’t think you’ll find a higher quality or more functional bag for anywhere near the price.

The Bag Boy Chiller is our runner up. The only significant difference from the Chiller Pro is a 14 way vs 15 way divider.
What we like:
- Premium Materials & Construction.
- 14 Full-length dividers for easy club access.
- Stable standing with or without legs deployed.
- 8 Storage pockets.
- Unique & Innovative (and removable) Cooler Pouch.
What we don’t like:
- Single strap makes walking the course difficult.
- Slightly awkwardly arranged club dividers.
The Chiller Pro is the 2nd most functional and well made bag I’ve used. I prefer the better-aligned top of the Chiller Pro, plus the extra divider slot.

The Bag Boy HB-14 hybrid bag is lightweight, has interesting colorways, but remains functional.
What we like:
- Interesting color & style options. (The best-looking bag i’ve owned by far)
- 14 Full-length club dividers for easy club storage and removal.
- Quality materials & construction while being light weight.
- Retains Bag Boy’s stability standing on its own or with legs deployed.
- Double straps for easy carrying.
What we don’t like:
- Not as robust as Chiller series.
- Bag straps are thin and a slight pain to adjust.
The Bag Boy HB-14 Hybrid Stand Bag is a heck of a bag in its own right. The one I have is flat out pretty. But, it’s not just pretty. It’s functional and well made with ample storage.
The only problem is it’s up against its cousins in the Chiller bags.

Verdict: A great looking functional bag built to be light and easy to carry. It’s just not as tough as Chiller bags.

#4 Datrek Go Lite Hybrid Golf bag

The Datrek Go Lite is an attractive and light weight bag that’s a breeze to carry.
What we like:
- Well organized 14-way full length divider top.
- Quality materials & construction.
- Light weight.
- Comfortable and easily adjustable double strap.
What we don’t like:
- Only 6 pockets.
The 6 pockets wouldn’t be a huge deal if it weren’t for the price. It’s more than the Bag Boy Chiller hybrid bag. A more functional and better-made bag.
Again, not that the Datrek is a bad bag. It’s not. It’s a good bag. There’s just better bang for the buck right here on this very page.

Verdict: An attractive, well made, and functional golf bag without enough pockets.
#5 Titleist Hybrid 14 Golf bag
- 14 Full Length Club Dividers
- Great looking bag with good color options
- Comfortable & Easily adjustable double strap
- Ample storage
- Not stable without legs deployed
- Legs slide out when deployed on a slick surface, like the floors in your house

The Titleist Hybrid 14 was my daily bag for years…until I met the Chiller Pro.
What we like:
- 14 Full Length Club Dividers.
- Great looking bag with good color options.
- Comfortable & Easily adjustable double strap.
- Ample storage.
What we don’t like:
- Not stable without legs deployed.
- Legs slide out when deployed on a slick surface, like the floors in your house.
I love the visual design of this bag, the 14-way divider, and the double straps most of all. I’ve carried quite a few rounds without issue using the Titleist Hybrid 14.
It’s a fine bag once you get it to the course or the range.
However…
It is the least stable bag I’ve owned.
Getting it to stand up in my closet with clubs is not possible. It has to be leaned against the wall. It’s nearly impossible without clubs in it too.
I can’t even have it loaded with clubs and set it standing with legs deployed in my house.
It will slide waay out like the legs will come out of their hings.
This was always annoying, but became doubly so when I got my Chiller bags. The MOST stable hybrid bags I’ve owned.

Verdict: Really nice bag and plenty functional on the course. Not being able to stand up without falling over is a minor annoyance, but an annoyance none the less.
