The Nexas is a genuine hybrid golf bag. It’s great if you want to carry. It’s great if you want to ride. And, it’s great if you want to use a push cart.

- Tour grade synthetic leather
- High-end look and feel.
- Ample storage (7 pockets)
What we don’t like:
- Only one colorway.
The Nexas is my new everyday bag. It’s completely functional with excellent club organization, comfortable carrying straps, and ample storage.

The Bag Boy Chiller Pro is a former Editor’s Pick and a great bag for the cart, push cart, or electric trolley.
What we like:
- Premium Materials & Construction.
- 15 Full-length dividers for easy club access. Extra divider comes in handy for alignment sticks, an extra club, etc.
- Stable standing with or without legs deployed. (You won’t find your bag fallen over if you just stand it up instead of deploying legs)
- 8 Storage pockets.
- Unique & Innovative (and removable) Cooler Pouch.
What we don’t like:
- Single strap, though comfortable, makes walking the course difficult.
The Chiller Pro is the most functional and well made bag I’ve used. I’m a large fan of the 15-way full length divider system. My clubs are neat and organized and go in and out of the bag effortlessly.
The 8 pockets are well placed and sized well for all my accessories. The removable cooler pouch is genuinely unique to Bag Boy Chiller golf bags.
It’s just a solid, well made, and wonderfully functional golf bag.

Bottom line: I don’t think you’ll find a higher quality or more functional bag for anywhere near the price.
#3 Bag Boy Chiller Pro Hybrid Golf Bag
- 14-way Full Length Dividers
- Great Looking Bag
- Ample Storage
- Top-Lok System

- Unique divider layout can be a little confusing

The Bag Boy HB-100 is one of our new favorites. We love the design and color options.
What we like:
- Gorgeous bag.
- 14-way full length dividers.
- Ample storage
- 8 Storage pockets.
- Can easily become your favorite carry bag with comfortable double straps.
What we don’t like:
- Unique divider layout system can be a little confusing.
We love the smart design and functionality of the HB-100. The divider top does align my clubs, but the rows are staggered and take some getting used to.
It looks sleek and the colorways, though basic, are quite attractive.

Bottom line: The HB-100 is a sleek, well designed and functional bag at a good price.
#4 Datrek Go Lite Hybrid Golf bag

- Quality materials & construction
- Easily adjustable double strap
- Light weight
- Only 6 pockets

The Datrek Go Lite is an attractive and light weight bag that’s a breeze to carry.
What we like:
- Well organized 14-way full length divider top.
- Quality materials & construction.
- Light weight.
- Comfortable and easily adjustable double strap.
What we don’t like:
- Only 6 pockets.
The 6 pockets wouldn’t be a huge deal if it weren’t for the price. It’s more than the Bag Boy Chiller hybrid bag. A more functional and better-made bag.
Again, not that the Datrek is a bad bag. It’s not. It’s a good bag. There’s just better bang for the buck right here on this very page.

Verdict: An attractive, well made, and functional golf bag without enough pockets.
#5 Titleist Hybrid 14 Golf bag
- 14 Full Length Club Dividers
- Great looking bag with good color options
- Comfortable & Easily adjustable double strap
- Ample storage
- Not stable without legs deployed
- Legs slide out when deployed on a slick surface, like the floors in your house

The Titleist Hybrid 14 was my daily bag for years…until I met the Chiller Pro.
What we like:
- 14 Full Length Club Dividers.
- Great looking bag with good color options.
- Comfortable & Easily adjustable double strap.
- Ample storage.
What we don’t like:
- Not stable without legs deployed.
- Legs slide out when deployed on a slick surface, like the floors in your house.
I love the visual design of this bag, the 14-way divider, and the double straps most of all. I’ve carried quite a few rounds without issue using the Titleist Hybrid 14.
It’s a fine bag once you get it to the course or the range.
However…
It is the least stable bag I’ve owned.
Getting it to stand up in my closet with clubs is not possible. It has to be leaned against the wall. It’s nearly impossible without clubs in it too.
I can’t even have it loaded with clubs and set it standing with legs deployed in my house.
It will slide waay out like the legs will come out of their hings.
This was always annoying, but became doubly so when I got my Chiller bags. The MOST stable hybrid bags I’ve owned.

Verdict: Really nice bag and plenty functional on the course. Not being able to stand up without falling over is a minor annoyance, but an annoyance none the less.
Final Verdict
We like the BagBoy family of hybrid golf bags for most golfers.
Datrek makes a more stripped down version and there are luxuary versions of hybrid bags too. (coming soon on this page)
