I’m an avid golfer, a 7ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6) and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.

What Makes the Stewart Golf Nexas Hybrid Stand Bag Different?

Stewart Golf is a UK-based company known for high-end electric trolleys. The Nexas is designed to work with their trolley lineup—but it works just as well on a standard cart or carried.

The standout is build quality. Tour Grade Synthetic Leather covers the exterior and it’s hard to believe it isn’t real leather. The genuine leather handle confirms you’re dealing with a premium product.

The Lowered Stand Mechanism and Flex Foot Base System keep the bag stable on any surface. The Quick Release Equilibrium Straps make carrying comfortable when needed.

14-way full-length dividers protect your clubs. An extra large putter well accommodates oversized grips. Dual magnetic bottle holders keep drinks secure.

The Nexas is the best-looking bag I’ve tested.

Fit and finish are perfect. No loose threads, no uneven stitching, no cheap-looking elements anywhere.

The Tour Grade Synthetic Leather looks and feels premium. You’d swear it was real leather if nobody told you otherwise.

On the cart, it looks sharp. My playing partners noticed and asked about it.

The gray colorway is understated and classy. I’d love to see Stewart add more options, but the current look works.

Club Storage – 14-Way Full-Length Dividers with Extra Large Putter Well

The Nexas features 14-way full-length dividers.

Clubs slide in and out without friction or snagging. No tangling issues during my round or range session.

The padding feels substantial and protects shafts well.

The extra large putter well is a nice touch. Oversized grips fit comfortably.

One minor note: I cut my putter to 33-34 inches, so the headcover wants to slide off when pushed against the divider top. This happens with other bags too—not a Nexas-specific issue.

All openings are appropriately sized. No issues with driver heads or longer shafts.

Other Storage & Organization – Six Pockets Plus Cooler

The Nexas has six pockets plus a cooler pocket.

Here’s how I set mine up:

Magnetic ball pocket – Holds balls with easy one-handed access. The magnet keeps the flap secure.

Large bottom pocket – Fits my rangefinder, SkyCaddie, sunglasses case, and sunscreen with room to spare.

Velour-lined valuables pocket – Located on the right side behind the second zipper. Keeps wallet, keys, and phone secure and scratch-free.

Right side medium pocket – Where I store gloves.

Cooler pocket – Fits my 20oz water bottle easily. A couple cans would fit as well. The insulated lining should keep drinks cool.

Dual magnetic bottle holders – One on each side. They hold bottles securely—no concerns about them falling out while riding.

Glove holder with clip – Works fine. I usually attach gloves to the top handles when practicing, but the dedicated holder is a nice option.

Umbrella holder – Two positions available.

Overall, the pocket situation is solid. Everything has a logical place and remains accessible.

Weight & Portability – 8 lbs and Easy to Maneuver

The Nexas weighs 8 lbs.

It feels appropriate for what you’re getting—not too heavy considering the premium materials and full-length dividers.

The Easy Lift Handles are positioned well. Moving the bag in and out of my vehicle and onto the cart was effortless.

The stand deploys smoothly with no issues. The Lowered Stand Mechanism and Flex Foot Base System keep it stable on any surface.

The Quick Release Equilibrium Straps work great for carrying from the parking lot to the practice area. They adjust easily and feel comfortable.

No awkwardness moving this bag around. Very functional.

Cart Compatible – Works Perfectly on Riding Carts

The Nexas sat perfectly on the riding cart during my round.

Never had to readjust the strap once. It stayed put.

The lowered stand attachments may help here—they don’t interfere when securing the bag to the cart.

All pockets remained accessible while riding with two bags and a playing partner. No issues with pocket placement or blocked access.

Note: Stewart Golf recommends their cart bags (not hybrid bags) for their electric trolleys due to weight distribution. I didn’t test the Nexas on their trolley.

Build Quality & Durability – Premium Everything

The Nexas is built with premium materials throughout.

Zippers work smoothly. No sticking or catching.

The zipper pulls appear to be metal with rubber exteriors. Good size makes them easy to find and grab. No slipping.

Stitching shows no concerns. It’s early days, but everything looks solid.

The Tour Grade Synthetic Leather shows no marks or scuffs after one round and a range session. It’s holding up well so far.

Stand legs feel sturdy and deploy without issues.

I’d bet this bag lasts 5+ years with sensible care and use.

Rain Protection – Premium Rain Hood Included

The Nexas includes a rain hood.

I haven’t used it yet, but I’ve seen it. It matches the bag’s premium quality—not flimsy at all.

You can access clubs easily while the hood is on.

The synthetic leather material should repel rain well based on how it feels. I’d expect no issues in wet conditions.

Value – A Luxury Buy That’s Earned Its Price

At $399, the Nexas is the most expensive bag I’ve tested.

It’s roughly $170 more than the Bag Boy Chiller Pro Hybrid ($230) and $100 more than the Revolver XP ($299).

Is it worth it?

If you want the highest-quality materials and don’t mind paying for premium, yes. The Nexas delivers.

I’ve tested great bags that function just as well. But none match the Nexas in overall feel, materials, and build quality.

This is a luxury buy. It’s not for bargain hunters.

But if $399 doesn’t sting and you appreciate craftsmanship, the Nexas earns its price.
