I’d seen these glasses around for while in golfing circles. I was very pleased to be able to get a pair to test them.

The box they came in is premium. The case that came in the box is premium. The lens cloth that came in the case is premium. The sunglasses themselves are really premium
These people are serious. They mention “aerospace-like tolerances” on the website and I believe them.
I tested the Bronze and Light Bronze lenses for this review. Both performed great on the course, on the road, or anywhere you normally wear sunglasses.
Best use cases for each:
I use and recommend the Bronze lenses for full sun conditions.
I use and recommend Light Bronze lenses for cloudy to partly cloudy conditions – glare is a thing.
Bottom Line – If you love sunglasses (and I do) you’ll love the Scheyden Loopers. One of the more impressive pair of sunglasses I’ve had the pleasure of putting on in a while. I can’t wait to try more models.

What we like:

I did NOT expect these Oakleys to be this good. I’d owned many pairs of Oakleys over the years. Their frames were always great for sports and outdoor activities, but their lenses were average, at best.
No longer. The Prizm shallow water polarized lenses in these Holbrooks are neck and neck with our Editor’s Pick. Really, a nice experience for your eyes.
Bottom Line – Exceptional clarity and glare protection while maintaining vivid colors in a classic Oakley frame. Excellent choice for the golf course, while driving, or at the summer barbecue.

TITE is a brand new sunglasses company making a strong showing.
What we like:
Superb clarity and exceptional contrast between white golf ball and green grass.
Good glare protection.
Lightweight frame w/ rubber inserts in nosepiece and arms fit comfortably and don’t slip.

Lack premium glare protection in the brightest sun.
I’ve had these sunglasses for a few months and was genuinely surprised by their unique lenses. They immediately brightened my vision, especially greens. Not just putting greens or green grass, but any green color.
They take on an almost florescent tint and get brighter. Absolutely superb when contrasting a white golf ball against a green fairway or putting surface. (didn’t want to write “green” again)
These are the best contrasting glasses I’ve tried. I don’t prefer them for the brightest days. Not quite enough glare protection.
I’ve got the Core Golf and Pro Golf lenses in the pairs I’m testing. The Pro Golf lenses are supposed to tease out more details on the greens. I rate them as neck and neck with the Core Golf lenses.
Bottom Line – Exceptional clarity and color contrast. They’ve got a good frame selection and two lens tints to choose from. Pro and Core.

I’ve owned 2-3 pairs of Revo sunglasses. I LOVE their lenses – specifically their green lenses – because I demand clarity and vivid colors while reducing or eliminating eye strain from my sunglasses.
The Terra lenses of the Crawlers are crystal-clear, and color enhancement is really good, but not to the level of our Editor’s pick.

Costa Del Mar Men’s Rinconcitos are next on our list of best golf sunglasses of 2025.

The frames are a little big for the average face. (or for my face)
The Rinconcitos, like the Whitetips, have our favorite lenses. They reduce eye strain and maintain clarity and enhance colors to make them more vivid than with just the naked eye.
The frames are well-made and comfortable. They’re just a bit too big for my face and/or face shape.
Bottom Line – Exceptional clarity and glare protection while maintaining vivid colors in a sporty comfortable frame. Excellent choice for the golf course, while driving, or at the summer barbecue.
Bottom Line – I think these are great sunglasses in general, but they really shine on cloudier days when glare is high, but the sun isn’t shining it’s brightest. .

Oakley Men’s Sylas sunglasses with “Prizm Jade” lenses are next on our list.
What we like:
Superb clarity and contrast.
Eliminates eye strain.
Rich colors.
Great looking light weight frames that fit well.
Great price.
What we don’t like:
Colors are rich, but the lenses are a little dark for my liking
No case.
Prizm Jade lenses blend superb clarity with a darker tent common to what most people think sunglasses should look like.
Green or “Jade” lenses are generally the best option for golf or for people that want vivid colors to go along with excellent clarity and relief from eye strain.
Prizm Jade lenses are darker than what I expected. But, as stated above, visual clarity is still on par with the best out there.
You’ll love them if you don’t mind darker tint but want to maintain all the attributes I just mentioned.
Bottom Line – Excel in every way but are a little dark for my personal taste. May not be for yours. 100% worth a test if you’re in the market and don’t mind bargain pricing.
We prefer green polarized lenses in golf sunglasses because they give exceptional glare protection while enhancing vision. They maintain vivid colors while providing excellent clarity and relief from eye strain. They work well in brightest conditions and maintain good contrast for seeing the ball and reading greens. That said, our top pic has bronze lenses that perform exceptionally.
Are polarized lenses best for golf?
Polarized lenses are excellent (but not required) for golf because they reduce glare significantly, which is crucial when playing outdoors in bright sunlight. Polarized lenses help eliminate the reflective glare bouncing off water, sand, and other bright surfaces on the course. They also enhance contrast and color perception, making it easier to track the ball and read the green.
Our Verdict
We prefer green polarized lenses (then bronze) in our golf sunglasses because they give exceptional glare protection while enhancing vision.
Our #1 recommendation is the Scheyden Looper sunglasses, which have the best combo of stellar lenses and good-looking functional frames.
