  1. Revo Crawler Sunglasses W/ Terra Lenses

This is Golfer Geeks’ Revo Crawler sunglasses review.

I’m an avid golfer, a 7ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6), and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.

The Verdict

The Revo Crawler sunglasses with Terra lenses are a near-complete package for golfers—great clarity, no eye strain, and a secure, lightweight fit.

They’re sleek, rugged, and ready for long days on the course.

They fall just short of the top spot only because the Terra lenses don’t enhance colors quite as vividly as Costa’s green lenses. But unless you’re hyper-picky like me, that’s not likely to matter.

Still, if you want performance, comfort, and great styling in a durable frame, the Crawler is a smart buy.

Revo Crawler Polarized Sunglasses

What We Like

Exceptional Clarity – The Terra lenses are crisp and distortion-free, giving you a relaxed visual experience right away.

Eye Comfort – Instant eye relaxation upon wearing, with great glare protection—even in bright sun or dappled shade.

Fit & Feel – Lightweight, secure, and snug without pressure. Non-slip rubber contact points on the nose and arms do their job well.

Durability – Frames feel tough and built to last. Excellent for active golfers or outdoor wear.

Style – Matte tortoiseshell finish looks sharp and understated—one of the best-looking frames I’ve tested

What We Don’t Like

WARNING: I’m picking serious nits here…

Color Enhancement – The Terra lenses don’t make colors pop as vividly as Costa’s green polarized lenses.

Lens Options & Frame Combos – Revo’s best-performing lenses (in my opinion) aren’t available in the best-looking frames. A bummer for those of us who are picky.

Who Are They For?

Revo Crawlers are for golfers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates premium sunglasses. They offer superb lens clarity and no-fuss comfort.

Ideal for medium-sized faces, these stay put whether you’re walking the back nine, driving, or hiking.

If you value clean optics, eye comfort, and sporty aesthetics—and don’t obsess over hyper-saturated colors—the Crawlers are an excellent choice.

Lenses

Revo’s Terra lenses in the Crawler frames are crystal clear and impressively relaxing for the eyes.

From the second I put them on, I noticed a significant reduction in eye strain—even in conditions where glare was high but the sun wasn’t blinding.

Clarity is excellent. These lenses block just enough visible light to protect your vision without making the world too dark.

Contrast is strong, and earthy tones—greens, browns, shadows—come through with great definition.

Where the Terra lenses fall slightly short is in color vividness. Compared to Costa Whitetip’s green polarized lenses, they don’t quite make colors pop. They’re more natural than vibrant.

That said, they’re still a joy to wear.

Most people won’t notice the difference unless they’ve tested multiple high-end lenses side-by-side.

But for me, Costa’s green lenses still hold the edge.

Bottom line: Terra lenses are top notch in clarity and comfort, with good—not great—color enhancement.

Frames

Mens Revo Crawler Sunglasses

I love Crawler frames. I think they’re my favorite of the sunglasses I’ve tested.

They’re made from a high-quality polycarbonate material. The fit and finish are perfect. I appreciate the non-slip rubber nose and arm pieces.

Really helps keep them in place on my face and on my head when I pick them up for whatever reason.

They seem resilient and tough, too.

Best Alternatives

I really like the Costa Whitetips – our Editor’s Pick – and the Revo Crawlers with Drive lenses as great alternatives.

Drive lenses offer a little more vivid colors and better contrast than Terra lenses.

  1. Polarized lenses are not good for golf. You claim to be a golf web site you should know that. Polarized lenses don’t help with green reading and following the golf ball in air.
