This is Golfer Geeks’ Scheyden Looper sunglasses review.
I’m an avid golfer, a 7ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6), and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.
See how the Scheyden Looper sunglasses with bronze lenses stack up against other men’s golf sunglasses.

Who Are They For?
Anyone who appreciates premium lenses and premium sunglasses. Not for those who just want darker lenses to decrease glare—these enhance and brighten your vision while maintaining vivid colors.
The frames run ever-so-slightly large, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The style is a good blend of modern and classic.
I wear them everywhere I would normally wear sunglasses—on the course, driving range, driving around town, walking the neighborhood—and they perform beautifully in every situation.
Lenses

The LT16 Bronze lenses use Scheyden’s RSR (Razor Sharp Resin) technology—a hard resin with clarity as close to mineral glass as possible.
They’re dye-infused with triple anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and flash mirror coatings.
In full sun, they reduced glare and relaxed my eyes while maintaining detail, color, clarity, and contrast.
In overcast conditions, they performed exactly the same—reducing glare without reducing visibility. No darkening, just enhancement.
The lenses brighten and sharpen what you see. Colors remain vivid and rich with no washing out.
On the course, I maintained exceptional clarity and contrast while keeping my eyes relaxed throughout the round.
These lenses remind me of Costa Del Mar’s green polarized 580 lenses—similar performance and quality.

Frames

The frames are made from TR90 composite material in Japan. Lightweight, comfortable, and snug—they stayed in place even while sweating during a round.
The build quality is the most premium I’ve tried. Everything feels substantial and precisely manufactured. They seem to have tighter tolerances than other brands.
The oversized silicone nose pads add comfort without any pressure points. The frames stay in place nicely, even when you push them up on your head.
The style blends modern and classic elements. They look great on and off the course.
The only consideration: they run ever-so-slightly large. Not bad, just something to note if you have a smaller face.
