Welcome to Golfer Geeks’ review of the Wellputt Ultimate Fitting mat. 

I’m an avid golfer, a 9.2 7 handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6) and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.

I tested the Ultimate Fitting mat for a week. Easy enough to do. I work from home and putt on my 13 ft Wellputt every day anyway. 

Summary: Superior putting surface quality. Rolls 10.5 & 11 on the Stimp. Large enough at just over 16ft long and 3ft wide to practice long, medium, and short putts from various angles. It’s got alignment lines and various fitting elements for professional fitters.

How to fix the rolled-up end of your Wellputt mat

• Roll up your mat with the rubber bottom facing the inside and the putting surface with graphics facing the outside of the roll. In other words, the opposite of the way you pull it out of the box.

Works like a charm.
