I’m an avid golfer, 6ish handicap (on my way to a 2), and frequent tester of golf gear since 2015.
I’ve owned the Lux² Players for about 2 ½ months. They’ve seen multiple rounds on the course, multiple range sessions, and multiple practice sessions on my hitting mat at home.

TRUE Linkswear Lux² Player golf shoes are among the most comfortable spiked golf shoes I’ve owned.
Their fit is true to size. They hug your feet with gentle and secure pressure. Traction is superb. And, they’re made from premium materials with premium construction.

The Verdict
The Lux² Players deliver a premium golf shoe experience from top to bottom. Premium materials, premium construction, and a fit that’s true to size.
They hug your feet with gentle, secure pressure. Snug and supportive, but never crammed or squeezed. And, stability and traction are excellent.
The styling took a little getting used to, but they’ve grown on me.
You’ll pay for all that premium. But, if you don’t mind spending the money, they’re fine shoes for the price.

Overview & Why Consider Them
The TRUE Lux² Player is a spiked, waterproof golf shoe. It’s part of TRUE’s first line of spiked shoes. Unlike TRUE’s Original line, it isn’t zero drop: the heel sits 6 mm higher than the forefoot. The upper is TRUE’s TRUEdura material with a laminated waterproof layer. The shoe comes in sizes 7 through 15 and seven colorways.
The main features worth your attention:
Replaceable spikes: The FlexBolt outsole takes Softspikes cleats, so you can replace them as they wear.
Room up front: TRUE rates the toe box “Wide.” That’s one step narrower than the OG3 Pro’s “Extra Wide.” There’s no width to choose.
Cushioning: TRUE’s Wanderlux² midsole, which it calls high rebound and low compression.
Waterproof, with a warranty behind it: The waterproofing is laminated onto the outer shell and carries a 2-year waterproof warranty.
Weight: TRUE lists it at 15 oz.
Consider these if you want TRUE’s roomy fit with spikes underneath.

Looks
I’m new to True Linkswear golf shoes (a little over 2 months). Their styling is different from any other golf shoes I’ve ever owned and took a little getting used to.
What helps is that they’re obviously made from premium materials and fit and finish are excellent. They aren’t flashy or trying to over-decorate the shoes. Unlike most modern athletic shoes and even some golf shoes.
They’ve grown on me since I met them.
Fit & Comfort
The size 10s I ordered fit true. My feet feel cradled and supported. I never walked 18 holes with them, but I walk enough while riding, practicing on the range, and during practice sessions at home.
They’ve always been plenty comfortable for me.
Stability & Traction
As mentioned above, the fit is snug and supportive, but my feet never feel crammed or squeezed.
Stability and traction are excellent.
Value
You’re going to pay a pretty penny for these, currently at $235. But, if you don’t mind spending that kind of money, I think these are fine shoes for the price.
Potential Alternatives
True Linkswear OG3 Pros - These are spikeless, but have equally outstanding traction. They also have zero drop soles and an extra wide toe box for even more comfort. They come in about $35 cheaper too.
SQAIRZ ProS2 LTs - A more structured shoe. Very comfortable and spiked. Also with excellent traction.

Final Verdict
After about 2 ½ months on the course, at the range, and on my hitting mat, I’m impressed with the TRUE Linkswear Lux² Players.
The fit and comfort stood out from the start. My feet feel supported without being squeezed, and stability and traction have been excellent throughout my testing. The styling took a little longer to grow on me, but it has.
I haven’t walked a full 18 in them, so I can’t speak to that. They’ve been plenty comfortable for the golf and practice I’ve put them through.
Price is my main knock. But if you’re willing to spend more for premium materials, excellent comfort, and a secure spiked shoe, these deserve a spot on your shortlist.
