This is Golfer Geeks’ Sqairz ProS2 LT golf shoes review.
I’m an avid golfer, 6ish handicap (on my way to a 2), and frequent tester of golf gear since 2015.
I’ve spent the last two months wearing the ProS2s on the course, on the range, and during beaucoup practice sessions on my Carl’s Place hitting mat.
Quick Take
Sqairz ProS2 LT golf shoes are some of the best fitting, most comfortable, and grippiest golf shoes I’ve ever worn.
They’re comfortable out of the box with zero wearing in needed. Material quality and construction are superb.
The instant 12 yards of distance never appeared, but then again, I didn’t expect it to.

Golfers who appreciate a high quality & high performing golf shoe and are willing to part with a couple hundred bucks for the privilege.
Considerations
The square toe box, while not obnoxious, may take a little getting used to.
Don’t expect the instant 12 yards of distance claim to pan out.
The Verdict
The ProS2s look great, fit great, and performed great right out of the box.
But, I wanted to see how that initial impression, and the shoes themselves, held up after some serious use. So, I seriously used them for about 2 and a half months.
Except for a few dirt and grass stains on the sole, they’re pretty much like the day I got them.
The 12 extra yards claim didn’t hold up…But…I have no doubt I struck the ball more solidly more often because of the fit, comfort, stability, and traction these shoes provide.

Overview & Why Consider Them
The SQAIRZ ProS2 LT is a $199 spiked golf shoe built around a roomy square toe, cushioned feel, and secure footing. It comes in Standard and Wide widths, with a grain-textured microfiber upper that SQAIRZ describes as waterproof.
The main features worth your attention:
Room for your toes: The square toe box is designed to let your toes spread naturally.
Replaceable spikes: Six Pivix Softspikes per shoe work alongside molded tread to provide grip. You can replace the spikes as they wear.
Cushioning and support: A foam midsole and footbed cushion your feet, while a reinforcing piece extends from the heel toward the arch for support.
Grippy laces: Silicone dots on the laces help keep them secured.
Consider these if you want a spiked shoe with room up front, support through your swing, and protection from wet grass. In my testing, the comfortable fit and excellent grip stood out.
SQAIRZ also promotes distance and swing-speed gains. My recommendation rests on how the shoes fit and perform underfoot; I haven’t measured those gains myself.

Looks
The squared toe thing isn’t my favorite. But, it’s not overdone and you can only really tell when you’re looking down at them or someone is approaching you. And no one will care anyway.
They come in 4 basic colorways. I chose the black and I think they’re handsome shoes.
Fit & Comfort
I generally wear a size 10, so I ordered a size 10. My prior shoes were FootJoys. Sqairz says theirs and FootJoy’s sizing are comparable.
That turned out to be exactly correct. But, the Sqairz fit better and were/are more comfortable shoes. By a lot.
There’s no wearing-in phase either. They’re comfortable out of the box and have stayed that way.
The unique toe box did give my toes more room, but I never took notice or paid attention to that since I’ve been testing them. They fit so well, it wasn’t a concern.
They slip on easily and are easy to tighten with their Sta-Put lacing system. They’ve got little silicone dots on the laces that catch as you tie them and never loosen. Very cool.
I never walked a round of golf, but I’ve played a few while riding, walked around the range plenty, and spent many hours practicing on my Carl’s Place hitting mat.
Never had an issue once with the ProS2 LTs.
Stability & Traction
Superbbbb. The shoes fit great and support your feet great to begin with. Then, you’ve got the lacing system that gets them snug and locks that feeling in place. Never tight or uncomfortable, just secure.
The “hybrid smart traction system” is killer. They look like they’ll hold you in place more than well. Then you take your stance and settle in.
You’re not really going anywhere, unless you’re standing in mud, I suspect. (I never stood in mud)
I think you could lose all those 6 Pivix Softspikes and still be good. Though, I don’t recommend that.

That said, I think $200 is a lot for a pair of golf shoes, but if you’re going to spend it, I wouldn’t hesitate to spend it on the Sqairz ProS2 LTs.
