I’m an avid golfer, 6ish handicap (on my way to a 2), and frequent tester of golf gear since 2015.
I got the OG3 Pros a little over two months ago. I’ve played multiple rounds of golf, had multiple range sessions, and even more practice sessions on my Carl’s Place hitting mat at home.

TRUE Linkswear OG3 Pro golf shoes are the most comfortable and functional golf shoes I’ve ever owned.
Though spikeless, I found traction exceptional. They are a pure pleasure to walk in. Like walking the course and practice area in my everyday running shoes.
The wide toe box and zero drop design do their job well.

Their glove-like fit can build up heat. I never experienced this on the course, but did a bit during long practice sessions.
The Verdict
I got the best of both worlds with the TRUE OG3 Pros, the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever worn, and all the traction and grip I require to hold the ground and swing with confidence.
I like wearing spikeless golf shoes, but I don’t really trust them with my full swing. I’ve got happy feet and I need a lot of traction to keep me balanced.
The wide toe box and zero drop soles are the exact type of running shoes I wear too.
These are no-brainers if you walk during rounds and a great choice if you’re simply looking for comfortable golf shoes, but don’t want to sacrifice traction and performance.

Overview & Why Consider Them
The TRUE OG3 Pro is a spikeless, waterproof golf shoe built on a zero-drop platform, which means the heel sits level with the forefoot. It’s the newest version of TRUE’s Original line. TRUE says it keeps the cushioned feel of the earlier OG Cush and adds a more aggressive outsole. The upper is pebbled, and TRUE calls the material engineered leather. The shoe comes in sizes 7 through 15 and five colorways.

The main features worth your attention:
Level from heel to toe: The heel drop is 0 mm. Most golf shoes raise the heel and this one doesn’t, so it will feel different if you’re coming from a conventional shoe. In my experience, the zero-drop design does its job well.
Extra room up front: TRUE rates the toe box “Extra Wide,” the widest of its three toe-box ratings. There’s no width to choose. Every pair is built on the same roomy fit. Like the zero drop, the wide toe box does what it promises.
Spikeless grip: The TPU outsole is redesigned. TRUE says it improves grip, side-to-side stability and durability over the OG Cush. I didn’t expect much traction from a spikeless shoe, but it was exceptional.
Waterproof, with a warranty behind it: It uses bootie construction and carries a 2-year waterproof warranty. If a pair leaks in that window, TRUE replaces it once with the same or an equivalent pair.
Easier on and off: A new tongue design is meant to make the shoe easier to get in and out of.
Light: TRUE lists the weight at 12 oz.
Consider these if you walk your rounds, want room for your toes, and like a flatter, more natural feel underfoot. They’re a pure pleasure to walk in. Walking the course and the practice area in them felt like wearing my everyday running shoes.
Before you buy, know that TRUE’s return policy covers indoor try-on only. You can return new, unworn shoes in the original box within 30 days. Lightly worn pairs only get store credit, minus a $15 fee. Pairs with signs of on-course wear can’t be returned or exchanged. Try them on at home before you take them outside.
Looks
I love the lower profile of these shoes and the minimal design. There are 5 colorways. I chose the glacier white. The wide toe box is most noticeable while looking down on them. Otherwise, they just look like handsome golf shoes.
Fit & Comfort
Perfection for me. I wear a size 10 and ordered the same. The waterproof bootie construction is like putting on a glove for your feet…kind of. So, there’s a little friction going in and out.
Once your foot is in and you’re laced up, it’s pure heaven for your feet. Mine instantly relaxed. I could feel my toes and forefoot spread out.
Stability & Traction
The fit is snug, but the uppers aren’t super structured. The waterproof bootie holds your feet and keeps them from moving much within the shoe. So, you’re secured, but not restricted.
I found traction exceptional. No issues with spinning out. No issues at all.
Value
Sometimes you get what you pay for. With the OG3 Pros, you’re paying for unparalleled comfort and uncompromising traction.

Comfort, especially for wide feet and walking: Reviewers with wide feet, bunions or flat feet say these fit without pain, and many walk 18 holes or more in them without hot spots.
Sizing is hit or miss: Several buyers had to exchange sizes, some going up and some going down. Use TRUE’s size finder.

Final Verdict
I was slightly skeptical of the OG3 Pros, not because of anything about the shoes in particular, but because they are spikeless.
