Quad Pro Build Quality & Construction

The frame is constructed from lightweight tubular metalโ€”likely aluminumโ€”giving it a solid yet easy-to-handle feel.

Heavy-gauge plastic is used for the moving parts, ensuring durability without adding unnecessary weight.

The handle features a soft, tacky rubber compound that feels comfortable and secure in your grip, even during long rounds.

Top Lok Bag Boy Chiller Hybrid Stand Bag

Right out of the box, the Quad Pro looks and feels substantial. It comes equipped with Bag Boy’s Top-Lok system, designed for a seamless, secure fit with Bag Boy and Datrek golf bags.

Bag Boy Quad Pro Top Lock

While it accommodates other bags using the included straps, non-compatible bags wonโ€™t lock in place with the Top-Lok system.

The Quad Pro will be around a while. Make sure to pick a color you like!

Maneuverability & Stability

The Quad Pro needed minimal babysitting as it was stable and maneuvered well over any terrain I threw at it.

  • Uphill
  • Downhill
  • Sidehill
  • Sidehill/Uphill
  • Sidehill/Downhill
  • Over curbs (I took a few shortcuts across streets during my round.)

If you’ve ever wrestled with a flimsy, awkward push cart, you know the struggle. Instead of focusing on your next shot, you’re constantly adjusting, steering, and stopping it from tipping over.

With the Quad Pro, it’s the oppositeโ€”youโ€™ll spend more time on your game and far less time babysitting your cart.

The red brake handle, positioned on the left side of the accessory area, locks the rear wheels securelyโ€”ensuring your Quad Pro stays put, even on uneven terrain.

Storage & Accessories

The Quad Pro has a place for everything you need on the course.

  • A dedicated spot for your phone or GPS device keeps it visible at all timesโ€”perfect for checking yardages on the go.
    • (I realllllly loved this feature. No more fumbling around as I’m walking to check and mark yardages or mark my score)
  • A top storage area holds pencils, balls, a scorecard, lip balmโ€ฆ whatever small essentials you need within easy reach.
  • A spacious pouch beneath the top storage area provides room for your phone, an extra layer, protein bars, or anything else you want to stash.
  • A built-in metal magnetic plate on the right side securely holds your rangefinder or speakerโ€”no more digging through pockets.
  • Multiple clips let you attach umbrella holders, sand bottles, and other handy accessories.

If you need it for your round, the Quad Pro has a spot for it.

Ease of Use – Folding, Unfolding & Storing

Unfolding your Quad Pro is very simple:

  1. Unlock the handle using the gray paddle on the right side.
  2. Lift the handle.

The Quad Pro will unfold as you lift. Next, lock the handle in the position you prefer and you’re ready to secure your bag.

Folding your Quad Pro…also very simple:

  1. Unlock your handle release lever and and lower the handle to the fully closed position.
  2. Lift the frame release lever (A grey paddle between the two rear wheels)and gently push down on the upper frame.
  3. Lock the handle release lever.

Your Quad Pro will collapse smoothly into a nice compact package for easy transport and storage.

A Couple Minor Complaints

I’ve got two minor gripes about the Quad Pro.

  1. It’s not quite as stable as the Bag Boy Nitron.
  2. The umbrella holder didn’t do a great job of holding my umbrella.

We had little gusts of wind throughout my round and I had to chase my umbrella down 2 or 3 times and keep my hand on it the rest of the time.

This could be operator error on my part. Feel free to let me know in the comments below if you’ve solved the riddle of the umbrella holder.
