This is Golfer Geeks’ Sqairz Speed Mesh golf shoes review.
I’m an avid golfer, 6ish handicap (on my way to a 2), and frequent tester of golf gear since 2015.
I’ve spent the last two months wearing the Sqairz Speed Mesh golf shoes (plus others) on the course, on the range, and during beaucoup practice sessions on my Carl’s Place hitting mat.
Quick Take
Sqairz Speed Mesh golf shoes fit perfectly out of the box, are about as comfortable as any I’ve tried, and have incredible traction and stability.
No breaking in. No comfortable some day. They slip on easily. They secure easily and stay that way. They feel great. And, they root you to the ground.
Material quality and construction are superb. The mesh material kept my feet cool and dry.

The Verdict
For me, the Speed Mesh shoes are all about performance, fit, and comfort. Like I said, they ain’t pretty, though I suppose that’s in the eye of the beholder.
But, they hug and secure your feet while sticking to the ground to help you swing with more control and power.
I’ve put them through their paces for the last 2+ months on the range, on the course, and through many practice sessions on my hitting mat. They perform as well to this day as the day I took them out of the box.
I don’t fully buy into their added distance claims, but some gains are not out of bounds if you’ve had underperforming shoes in the past.

Looks
Cosmetics are average in my opinion. But, they’re never offensive and they’re not trying to do too much. Their performance more than outshines whatever misgivings you may have at first glance.
Fit & Comfort
Superb out of the box. I wear a size 10 in most shoes. Sqairz’s own guidance says their sizing corresponds to FootJoy, Skechers, Puma, or New Balance. I owned FootJoys before these, and that checks out.
But, the Speed Meshes fit better and are far more comfortable.
Stability & Traction
Superior. As I stated in the ProS2 LT review, I think you could pretty much lose those 6 Pivix Softspikes and retain enough traction to play well. Don’t do that. Replace them as you lose them…if you lose them.
They allowed me to turn and feel torque and tension in all the right places during my play and practice.
Value
Incredible now that they’re about half price, as they’re an older model. You still get all the premium at a steal of a price.
They were fine shoes at $179, they’re a “run, don’t walk” bargain now.
