I’m an avid golfer, 8ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6) and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.
I tested the LTDx last year and got it back again for side-by-side testing with the new Aerojet. I looked for improvements in sound, feel, forgiveness, and/or distance.
Summary: The Aerojet and LTDx drivers performed exactly the same for me, or close enough to it. The major difference is cosmetic. Same sound and feel. Same or similar forgiveness and distance.

Testing the Aerojet & LTDx Drivers
I tested the LTDx last year and again for this comparison with the Aerojet. (I looove the LTDx and LTDx Max drivers.)
I played the Aerojet on course and put it on my launch monitor at the range side by side with the LTDx for this article.
Are there big differences between the Aerojet & LTDx?
No, not in the way they perform.
Yes, completely different cosmetics.
Looks:
Aerojet: (B) It’s a decent-looking clubhead. Not offensive or ugly, and certainly not enough to stop you from buying it. But, it doesn’t look premium next to the competition. The basic color is grey with a carbon texture. Some white on the sole with a dot or two of red and the sole weight is blue instead of red. (like the LTDx)
It’s a large head, just like the LTDx – which doesn’t bother me.
LTDx: (A) I love the blue-colored carbon weave. It sits great at address (so does the Aerojet). And, the looks have grown on me since I first tested it about a year ago.

Sound/Feel:
Awesome for both.

Forgiveness:
Again, plenty for both. I saw no difference.

No real difference for me.

Which driver would I get if I were coming out of my pocket?
LTDx…I’ve got a love affair with that driver and the Aerojet did not outperform it in my testing. Plus, you’ll save about
Should you buy the Aerojet if you own the LTDx?
Nope, not in my opinion.
Which driver do I recommend for you?
The LTDx – Same performance. Better cosmetics. ~$250 cheaper.
My #1 suggestion is to test both clubs before you buy. Either at your local golf store or take advantage of Global Golf’s Utry trial program. I use it and recommend it.
