Both are long, forgiving, and offer decent feel โ but neither stands out over prior year models.

I tested the Elyte driver alongside the Qi35 and Qi10 over three days on the range and with both the Garmin R50 and Garmin R10 launch monitors โ hitting close to 150 drives in total.
My swing wasnโt sharp for about 77% of the testing, but I did manage to hit a number of solid drives with each club. The Elyte was the easiest to dial in straight when I moved the sole weight to the draw position.
It delivers good sound and feel on center contact, and decent distance on playable swings.
Iโm not a fan of the head shape or overall cosmetics, but the performance is solid โ especially if you take the time to dial in the weighting.

While Iโm not a big fan of the head shape or overall cosmetics, the new darker blue face looks great behind the ball.
The Qi35 has plenty of pop and about as much forgiveness as I expected from a modern premium driver.
It also gives you the ability to dial in ball flight with its movable sole weights โ a nice bonus if you like to fine-tune your setup.
Hereโs whatโs new with the Qi35:
- Infinity Carbon Crown for better mass redistribution and forgiveness.
- Trajectory Adjustment System with movable weights for controlling spin and shot shape.
- High Inertia Shape with Twist Faceโข, Speed Pocketโข, and a 4ยฐ loft sleeve.
Itโs very much an โeverymanโ driver โ I think it will serve you well as long as youโre a competent driver.

Bag Appeal โ Draw
Fairly disapointed in both drivers. Pretty big step down from last year’s models for each. Especially the head shape.
Sound & Feel โ Draw
Both drivers offer good sound and feel on center contact. Might give the edge to the Qi35. But, not sure.
Distance โ Draw
A very marginal advantage to the Elyte for me. But, I don’t think it’s legitimately longer. Just a quirk of my swing.
Forgiveness โ Slight edge to Elyte
The Elyte was a little easier to dial in straight ball flights, especially with the sole weight adjusted. The Qi35 is still forgiving, but the Elyte edged it slightly in my experience.
Ball Flight โ Draw
Both produced solid, playable ball flights with good peak height. Very little to separate them in this category.
Final Verdict

The Callaway Elyte and
Both offer solid distance, forgiveness, and feel, but neither one stands out enough to justify upgrading if you already have a good modern driver.
If value matters, Iโd recommend looking at prior models first โ theyโll likely save you money and deliver similar performance.
