Education & Golf Experiences
Emily Kuhfeld is currently in the transition stage of beginning her second career. Her first career was in golf, starting as a prominent junior and high school golfer, and then a member of the Ohio State University Women’s Golf team. After graduation, Emily played on the Duramed Futures Professional Tour for 2 years. After giving numerous lessons, clinics, and golf camps, Emily began coaching at the collegiate level. As a college coach, Emily motivated, connected to, developed, led, and prepared her student-athletes for life and further sport successes. By being a competitive junior, amateur, collegiate and professional golfer, as well as instructor and long-time collegiate coach, Emily has a well-rounded and knowledgeable background in all areas of the game of golf.
Experience
Emily is an accomplished golfer and academic student. With NCAA Division 1 experiences in motivating, communicating with, and helping develop and execute a plan for improvement with each player, Emily is able to write about how to take a golf game to the next level for juniors all the way up to the Professional level. She still is fortunate to work with LPGA Professional Kim Kaufman. On the side, Emily is the Director of Content for Golf Gummies as well as the (Ghost) Co-author of book, “ACE Golf: The Perfect Pre-Shot Routine”. She has also written for the “Mully Blog” on MullyBox.com. For her second career as a Mental Health Counselor, Emily is looking forward to working with clients in the Bloomington area, as well as creating her own business as a Mental Performance Consultant. When she’s not studying or working, you can find Emily reading, in a pilates class, trying a new recipe, enjoying the beautiful college town she lives in, or enjoying time with her family and friends.
