Thanks for checking out Golfer Geeks’ comparison of 2023 Titleist T100 Irons vs T150 Irons.
I’m an avid golfer, 9ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6), and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.
I know Titleist makes fantastic irons after testing almost their entire inventory over the last year or so. I’ve tested the 2023 T200s and now I’m onto the new T100s and T150s. (T350s to follow soon)
Summary: The 2023 T100s and T150s performed similarly for me on the course and on the range. The T150s are ~6 yards longer and a touch more forgiving than the T100s. Sound & feel are identical and they look mostly identical too.
In this comparison of the 2023 Titleist T100 Iron and T150 Irons, I discuss my experience with the clubs, unique features and benefits, and my pick for which iron set I’d buy.

Testing the 2023 Titleist T100 & T150 Irons
I had
- One range session with each set.
- Two rounds on the course.
- And a session on my launch monitor with the 7-iron from each set.
I didn’t have my best stuff for any of it, but I intermittently hit solid shots and got to test out forgiveness for both sets.
Both sets are accurate and consistent on solid shots. (A big key for scoring) I got a little more out of my minor mishits with the T150s.
The numbers below are from a session on my Fiberbuilt mat, Spornia net, and Garmin R10 launch monitor in my backyard using premium golf balls. My backyard launch monitor yardages almost never match my yardages on the course.
Launch Monitor Numbers:
Club | Club Speed | Ball Speed | Carry Distance | Launch Angle | Apex |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
T100 7-iron | 77 mph | 106 mph | 154 yards | 18.8* | 76 ft |
T150 7-iron | 78 mph | 108 mph | 160 yards | 17.5 | 72 ft |
Are there big differences between 2023 T100 & T150 Irons?
No, but there are differences.
These are remarkably similar clubs in almost all ways. The 150s are a splash more forgiving and add about half a club longer because the lofts are about 2-degrees stronger.
Looks
Not a whole of daylight between these clubs…at ALL. You have to look pretty close to notice the slightly thicker topline and sole of the 150s.

The same – among the best in the game for premium low-handicap irons.

I got more mileage (not a ton) out of my mishits, which were plentiful, with the T150s.

My launch monitor data shows T150s (I tested the 7-iron from each set) carry about 6 yards farther on average.

Verdict on the 2023 Titleist T100 Irons vs T150 Irons
The 2023 Titleist T100 & T150 irons are similar in a lot of respects.
- They look the same.
- Sound and feel the same.
- Cost the same.
- Are equally accurate & consistent.
But there are a couple of differences that may be important to you.
If you want ~6 yards (half a club) more distance and a touch more forgiveness?
Pick the T150s
If you don’t need more yardage or forgiveness and want the standard in low handicap cavity back irons?
Pick the T100s.
My #1 suggestion is to test both sets before you buy. Either at your local golf store or take advantage of Global Golf’s Utry trial program. I use it and recommend it.
