2023 Titleist T100 Irons in the bag on the course

This is Golfer Geeks’ 2023 Titleist T100 irons review.

I’m an avid golfer, 8-ish handicap on my way to a 2 (been a 5.6), and frequent tester of golf clubs and equipment since 2015.

I’ve had the 2023 Titleist T100 irons for the last couple of weeks. I’ve played two rounds of golf, had one range session (so far), and tested the 7-iron against the 7-iron from the T150 set on my launch monitor.

Summary: The 2023 Titleist T100 irons felt and played the same for me as the 2021 T100s I tested a couple of months ago – exceptional. The T100s remain the standard in premium low-handicap cavity back irons. They do everything well.

In this review of the 2023 Titleist T100 irons, I discuss my experience with the clubs, unique features and benefits, as well as customer reviews and potential alternatives.

My Experience with the T00 Irons

2023-Titleist-T100-7-iron

What I expected. Good swings were rewarded with Titleist’s trademark soft and solid feel with quick launch, good carry, and shots holding on the green.

Unfortunately for my ego, I was more “miss” than “hit” during my time with the 2023 T100 irons.

I played one and a half rounds with the 2023 T100s. I had high hopes for those rounds, but my swing only occasionally delivered solid contact. Don’t get me wrong, those few swings were most enjoyable. But, hitting a whole bunch of thin and fat shots is a little discouraging. (Plus my short game didn’t come to the rescue)

The T100s allowed me to get away with minor mishits, but nothing more than minor. Solid shots delivered accurate shots and ample distance.

Conclusion. Center contact is richly rewarded with distance, accuracy, and green-holding. Minor mishits will drop your distance a club or more, but you’ll maintain direction.

Our Verdict on the 2023 Titleist T100 Irons Review

The 2023 T100 irons do everything they’re supposed to do and are the perfect cavity back irons for better low-handicap players.

Should you upgrade if you own the 2021 T100s?
No, I don’t recommend that. I’m sure there are small differences, but not enough for the average customer.

My #1 suggestion is to test before you buy. Either at your local golf store or take advantage of Global Golf’s Utry trial program. I use it and recommend it.
