Hey, Jamie here…I’ve been passionate about golf ever since I first picked up a club over 20 years ago…I read all the magazines…
Couldn’t get GOLF out of my head…The problem was, I could never seem to improve past a certain point….
Even then, there were tons of devices on the market that supposedly helped you have a perfect golf swing…
Special gloves…..harnesses….swing jackets….straps….
Another problem…They were all mostly crap….
Something about it just rang true…a training aid that seemed so intuitive and just seemed to make “Sense”
So HERE’s the Scoop….
You…Me…My friends…Your friends…are usually lucky to make solid contact with a golf ball and send it in the general direction of our target.
Sure, sometimes….some days…we hit it well, maybe really well…
So tell me something….how long does that last?……..Why were we hitting well?…..Why did it Stop?
We all want a better golf swing…a swing that’s Powerful…A swing that sends golf balls rocketing toward our target…every time……..We all want to that feeling of “No Feeling” when we Really CONNECT with the center of the club face…
Well, I’ve got some good news…That ONE training aid that worked is still around today, but even better.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my PlaneSwing golf swing trainer review! I’ve loved the Plane Swing concept ever since I took up golf over 20 years ago. As a college student at the time, the $600 price tag kept me from even entertaining getting one. Surprisingly, the price, even after all these years, is around $600. The older style devices, which are still around today, were made from PVC pipe, rather bulky and were meant to be used with your own clubs, allowing you to hit balls while standing in the device. This version is made of metal, is light, and can be put together or taken apart and stowed in less than a minute. The makers have taken the first iteration of the swing plane training device concept and added easy adjustability, alignment and posture aids, solid construction, easy storability, and unparalleled service after the sale. I’ll go over their claims and my thoughts below.

–>I Think These PlaneSwing Reviews Say It Best
I reached out to Tony Clark (who can be seen in the video above) via email and was lucky enough to get him on the phone for about 30 minutes, where he talked about the history of the company and his vision for its future. He was gracious enough to answer a list of questions I had written up for him in a Q&A format. I learned a few things about Tony, his company, and his excellent training aid- the product itself from these exchanges. First is that Tony is Very personally involved in all aspects of PlaneSwing and takes as much pride in the service after the sale as in the product itself. He aimed to set his company apart in both regards; successfully in my opinion. Another thing is that PlaneSwing is a family business. He specifically mentioned that his wife handles payments and what not.
Tony was involved in a company prior to PlaneSwing that also produced a swing plane trainer. As Tony explains,
With a small team, we successfully expanded but there were shortcomings and these were exposed at shows and by PGA Pros and amateurs. These centred around the excessively heavy roller, the confusing mat and the extension at the top of the hoop. When that profitable business collapsed due to shenanigans I set about addressing those shortcomings and developing my own swing plane trainer, PlaneSWING and in doing so created a product that delivered better results because it more closely replicates how the golf swing should be and feel.
There are many golf swing training devices that are similarly built and focus on the swing plane. I’ve looked at them and I think PlaneSwing stands out as a product and as a company. I go with Tony Clark and PlaneSwing, and I think you should too.
#1 Golf Swing Plane Trainer | The PlaneSwing:
Common Swing Faults Addressed
- Coming “Over the Top”
- Thin Shots
- Fat Shots
- Overly Quick Tempo
The makers of PlaneSwing, the #1 golf swing plane training system in the world, designed the PlaneSwing so that you will get “Instant feel for the perfect golf swing ” and begin to immediately “ingrain a repetitive motion”. This is all accomplished by keeping the weighted “power slider” in contact with the Plane Swing hoop, thus keeping the club on-plane. Due to its weight, the power slider allows you to know where it is positioned in space, at all times. The end of the power slider has a “plane checker” protruding from it and is used as a visual guide to keep you on plane. The weight of the power slider also forces you to swing using the proper muscles, which begins to build muscle memory very quickly. The concept of “muscle memory” is widely accepted as a desirable tool for improved performance in most sports I can think of.
If you have a decent golf swing, and if you can repeat it (think “muscle memory”), you have a far better chance to start your ball on your intended line. The more variables you can eliminate in your swing and setup- the better. The Plane Swing is designed specifically for this task. You can set this up nearly anywhere, and practice every single day in the comfort of your own home, garage, yard, etc.
Swing Plane Trainer Assembled: First Things First
I mentioned above that PlaneSwing golf swing trainer can be assembled and disassembled in under a minute. Some clarification is needed here. Initial setup will take approximately 45 minutes- according to the manufacturer. You will only need 30 seconds to collapse or erect it thereafter.
Plane Swing is covered by a 30 day “no questions asked” (the inventor is British, so they say ‘no quibble’) return policy, and then a 12-month return guarantee for manufacturer defects. Funny thing is, any questions you direct to support will likely be responded to by their CEO- Tony Clark.
A Better Golf Swing Plane: Can It Be Used With Different Types Of Swings?
PlaneSwing golf swing trainer can be configured for a person of any height and can be adjusted from the flattest to the most upright swing plane. As you can see in the video above, it adjusts in seconds. So whether you have an upright, flat, one-plane, two-plane, or any swing in between, you can use the Plane Swing to improve your game. They rightly point out that adjustable swing hoop concept has been employed by nearly all of the top teachers in the world. You may recognize some of these names: Butch Harmon, Hall of Famer Randy Smith, Mike Malaska, Revolution Golf’s Martin Chuck and numerous others in almost 70 countries. As I’ve said before, I think the concept is rock solid.
In our email exchanges, Tony informed me that Darren Clarke, Dustin Johnson, Tommy Fleetwood, and Shaun Micheel are users of the PlaneSwing. Two of those guys are among the best ball strikers on the planet
**Any touring pro or local golf pro you see using the PlaneSwing golf swing trainer has spent their own money to purchase it because they believe in the product. Tony has had pros reach out to him to get comped, and they all ended up going into their wallet. Tony did not give away or discount this product for anyone. It’s very reasonably priced for a product built to last your entire golfing life.
